Learn How to Spot Medicare Fraud

Medicare fraud happens when someone misuses your Medicare number or benefits. Protect yourself by watching out for these warning signs:

 

🚫 Requests for your Medicare or Social Security number by phone or email
🚫 Offers of free gifts or money in exchange for your Medicare information
🚫 Bills for services, tests, or equipment you never received
🚫 Unfamiliar charges on your Medicare Summary Notice (MSN) or Explanation of Benefits (EOB)

 

How to Protect Yourself

✅ Guard your Medicare card and number like a credit card
✅ Check your MSN and EOB regularly
✅ Report anything suspicious immediately
