KRISTINA KRUSE, MD, FAAFP, CLC

Overview

Dr. Kruse was born and raised in rural Ohio. She graduated with her bachelor of science in 2013 from The Ohio State University with a major in Biology. She attended Ross University School of Medicine and completed her medical doctorate in 2018. 

 

She completed her residency in family medicine in 2021 at the Medical College of Georgia Department of Family Medicine at Augusta University Medical Center.

 

Dr. Kruse’s research presentations include research in thyroidectomies, chronic pain management, and addiction medicine. 

 

Her certifications include lactation consultation, osteopathic manipulation, medical ultrasound, geriatrics, and medication assisted therapy in addiction medicine. 

In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities with her family and traveling.

AMY LEURINDA, MD

Overview

Dr. Leurinda, originally from Minnesota, has been a proud resident of Georgia with her family since 2017. She holds a degree in psychology from the University of Minnesota, where she also conducted groundbreaking research in neuroscience prior to medical school. In 2020, she and her husband graduated from medical school together. She completed her family medicine residency at Augusta University at the Medical College of Georgia. 
 
Dr. Leurinda has an impressive research portfolio that spans lifestyle medicine, quality improvement projects in resident and medical student education, clinic research focusing on newborns, and multiple published practice recommendation review articles.
 
As a board-certified family medicine physician, Dr. Leurinda is passionate about providing comprehensive care. She enjoys engaging in medical-related community outreach and missions, reflecting her commitment to improving community health.
 
In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her family and gardening.
